Over the past three years, I hired Greg from GM Building and Remodeling to complete several projects in my Delafield home, including refinishing a garage floor and pool deck, repairing exterior siding, replacing windows and doors and gutting and remodeling our entire master bathroom. Maniaci Builders did an amazing job updating our kitchen cabinets and countertops. The contractors were always on time, professional and friendly. We felt comfortable allowing them into the house without us being there. My condo kitchen needed to be redone and I had a specific vision of how the new kitchen would look. GM Builders made that vision come true and I have my dream kitchen. I knew exactly what I wanted, however there is a sizeable difference between one end of the kitchen ceiling and the other end. The way that GM Builders "fixed" this, you would never know there was a discrepancy. I had no idea how long and how detailed a remodel would be, but the end result was worth every minute.

When we decided to redo our master bath, we knew we needed professional help. We were lucky enough to get a hold of Greg at GM Building and Remodeling through a mutual acquaintance.

We had a high level plan which they took and turned into a beautiful, AMAZING, new bathroom.

We hired Greg, owner of GM Building and Remodeling to remodel the first flor of our home including a new kitchen, living room, front room, all new flooring, all trim, electrical, some plumbing and knocking out load bearing walls. GM Building helped make our dream come true by building our house on the lake and it was done on schedule and of high quality. Greg stayed in constant communication with us throughout the process and there were no surprises along the way. The quotes were accurate and we had over 20 change orders that were incorporated into the project and it did not cause any delays which was impressive to us. This was not an easy project since an existing house had to be taken down and removed. The road situation was difficult but Greg was on site every day to make sure things went well and also communicate with our neighbors. Greg handled all of the permits with the various government agencies and when building on the lake there are more than usual. His subcontractors did high quality work and also communicated with us to ensure details were done to our satisfaction. We built a house previously and it was different in regards to the subcontractors and the care that they put into our house. Now that I was moved in, came the task of hiring a building contractor to 1) update the main level of the home; and 2) to convert a very large, very old, and very dark and scary cinder block basement into a functional living space, which required a Rec Room large enough to accommodate a posse of over active teenagers and a Laundry Room that was so bright and so beautiful, that it would make the 20 loads of laundry I do each week, nothing short of sheer pleasure.

Fortunately for me, my ex-husband Jason, referred me to Greg Maniaci of GM Building & Remodeling. Jason had contracted with Greg to complete a major renovation which included a substantial amount of new construction as well, at the home he and his wife had just recently purchased on Pine Lake. Jason whose expectations and standards are always set very high and rightly so, was extremely impressed with the quality of work Greg Maniaci was delivering to him. What was wildly apparent to me given my conversation with Jason, was the undeniable level of confidence that Jason clearly possessed in Greg, which I happen to know for a fact, is a quality that can only be earned from Jason, and not a task easily accomplished. Needless to say, I contacted Greg immediately, met with him 2 days later and the rest is simply remodeling history!

I couldn't have been happier with the quality and timeliness of the work Greg provided me. I was so pleased in fact, that just as my project was about to be completed, I entered into another contract with Greg to build out the last unfinished section of the basement and build a Study Room, complete with white boards and a 7 ft rectangular table that could be utilized for group study activities. As for my teenage daughter, she and 14 of her closest friends, now practically live in the Rec Room and the Study Room Greg designed and built for them. While it's rare that I get an opportunity to listen in their private conversations, I can confirm that on at least one occasion, I overheard at least 2 of the kids acknowledge that "it is the coolest basement they have ever hung out in". Greg was now a rock star! As for the Laundry Room, which for some reason is the only room in the house my daughter is unable to locate, well... laundry is still not a pleasure, but I absolutely love the room anyway.

Besides enjoying rock star status, Greg is a true professional. He's approachable, reliable, detail oriented and above all he takes enormous pride in the fact that the company he built, that bears his name, was founded as a result of his skill and expertise, will flourish as a result of his reputation, integrity and unquestionable trustworthiness. Given the quality of my experience with Greg, GM Building & Remodeling, Greg is and will continue to be, the company I will utilize for all of my home repair and remodeling needs.
